My Wellness Journey

I am a 43-year-old mother of two VERY busy boys as well as a teacher. I have always tried to find time to work out and eat healthy.  Both of my parents died of cancer so it has been a mission of mine to stay fit and healthy for my family.

This past year  I started running and realized it is very therapeutic for me. (Probably because it gets me away from the stress of every day life.   :    )    I also became a BeachBody coach to help motivate my friends and family to stay healthy , too.

I love sending e-mails of encouragement or getting on Facebook and telling people to keep at it because I know how hard it is to keep to a routine. My workout buddies do the same for me! Exercise seems to be the first to get cut when our lives become busy, which is sad. It is the one thing that will help us through every aspect of our lives.

If we find people to encourage us and help us stay motivated, think of what we can accomplish together.   So, do you have your workout buddy?   If not, get one.
